  • The MFA Film and MBA programs have come together to design and offer a dual degree program for students who wish to pursue both degrees concurrently. Pursuing both degrees broadens the skills set of our graduates and makes them more competitive in the job market. It also allows students to pursue two degrees at a discounted rate of time and tuition, compared to completing both degrees individually.

  • The associate of arts degree program in early childhood education is designed for the student who wishes to enter the field of preschool teaching directly upon graduation or to prepare for a career working with children and/or families. At the completion of the two-year program, the student is qualified to teach in child development programs (pre-kindergarten). The student may also continue to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in child development, or they may complete the requirements for a Bachelor of Arts degree with a liberal studies major.

    Welcome to our Induction Program! We are excited to offer preliminary credential teachers two pathways for clearing your multiple subjects, single subject or special education credential.

    Please note that the Induction Program to Clear Credential is a job-embedded program that focuses on mentoring and support. You must hold a preliminary teaching credential and be employed as a teacher in order to complete the Induction program.

    The Instructional Leadership (IL) program is a Master of Science in Education degree that prepares experienced teachers who already possess a preliminary credential to become teacher leaders on campus. You will refine your pedagogy and curriculum development skills and develop the leadership skills required for coaching, mentoring, and providing professional development.

    The graduate certificate program offers fully credentialed teachers the same core courses as those in the Master of Science in Education, plus one additional elective. This program - which can be completed in one year, or at your own pace - is ideal for experienced educators with master’s degrees hoping to bring teacher leadership skills to their classrooms and school sites.

The core of your program will be the Education Specialist Credential Program, that leads to a California Preliminary Special Education in Mild to Moderate teaching credential.
