Office of the Provost at Mount Saint Mary’s University

The Provost and the Provost’s Council work with the President to establish academic priorities and allocate the necessary funds to meet those objectives. They establish academic standards, assess student outcomes and develop curriculum following the University’s LACE (Liberal Arts Core Education) guidelines. New courses, minors, majors and certificate programs are developed to meet the desires of the students as well as to ensure their competitiveness in the workforce and in graduate programs. The provost’s office also supports Academic Accreditation, the renowned  and Information Technology.
