Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles, is dedicated to fostering a discrimination- and harassment-free environment based on sex. The University expects all community members to help create a safe and respectful campus. 水果派 acknowledges the prevalence of sex-based discrimination at higher education institutions and does not tolerate it in any form. The University is committed to eliminating such discrimination, preventing its recurrence, and addressing its impacts.

If you have experienced sex-based misconduct, sexual assault, stalking, dating or domestic violence, or sex-based discrimination, you have options and the Title IX Office is here to assist you.

You have the choice of who to tell about this incident, as well as what resources, support and reporting options you wish to pursue. 水果派 encourages members of the community who have experienced, or who know of, gender-based harassment, discrimination, or sexual misconduct to promptly report instances to鈥痶he鈥疶itle IX鈥痮ffice鈥痵o that the University can take appropriate responsive action. 

Options available:

Once the Title IX Office receives a report,鈥痶he鈥疶itle IX鈥疌oordinator, or a designee,鈥痺ill reach out to鈥痶he鈥痠nvolved parties in order to promote safety, explain the following options for moving forward, and provide assistance with accessing any of the following. Generally, the following options are available. Individuals can choose to do one, some, or none of the below:

  • Access emergency medical care
  • Access confidential support (e.g. Counseling and Psychological Services, Employee Assistance Program)
  • Access community-based victim services
  • Access supportive and protective measures (e.g. academic accommodations, alternative housing, no contact order)
  • File a complaint with the University
  • File a criminal complaint
  • File a civil claim
