The Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program offers the BSN program to students already holding a non-nursing bachelor's degree. The ABSN program uses the same curriculum design as the Baccalaureate Nursing Program, follows the stated philosophy and students meet the same terminal objectives as in the regular BSN program. The program is completed within one year, in three consecutive semesters; it is a rigorous program of study. Approved by the California Board of Registered Nurses and accredited by the Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education.

This interdisciplinary major draws from classes across a wide array of departments, including history, English, political science, sociology, business and art. Applied psychology uses the methods and findings of scientific psychology to identify and solve practical problems of human behavior and experience. A degree in applied psychology prepares graduates for careers and graduate programs across a wide variety of specializations. These can include research psychology, counseling psychology, clinical psychology and child/adolescent psychology, as well as other applied areas of psychology.

The Bachelor of Arts degree is flexible for students who wish to be well-rounded and free to explore the biological sciences. Requirements and electives give students increased freedom to chart their own path, creating either a broad-based curriculum or specializing in biology classes of their choosing.
The Bachelor of Science degree is specifically designed for students wishing to pursue careers in scientific research and medicine. This degree provides a rigorous and well-rounded background in the biological sciences, while at the same time meeting the exam and prerequisite requirements necessary for research graduate schools and medical schools.

The BS in Biological Sciences with an Environmental Science emphasis is designed for students seeking careers in environmental science, including those in research, nonprofit organizations, private industry and governmental agencies. Students can choose from five emphases: Accounting, international business, management, marketing and social impact and sustainability.

The business administration educational environment is characterized by four key themes: global business, management communications, business ethics and innovations in contemporary business management. Students can incorporate their own workplace experience into the fabric of the classroom. Subjects covered include management, information systems, organizational behavior, business law, accounting, marketing and finance.

Ë®¹ûÅÉ’s MBA program is recognized for its innovative, theme-based modular approach to learning. The approach helps managers and executive integrate various business disciplines (including management, marketing, accounting, finance and economics) for effective decision-making and innovation. This 20-month, weekend-only MBA program offers classes on alternate weekends, for a total of six weekends per semester. Students can choose from three concentrations: Entrepreneurship, organization leadership and project management.

The Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry is designed for those interested in secondary science teaching, chemical technology and other broadly based careers requiring a science background. The Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry offers students a comprehensive view of the principles of this science and allows them to participate in personalized laboratory instruction and individual research.

Ë®¹ûÅÉ’s doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD) offers a curriculum designed to meet the needs of a multicultural environment through a strong social justice lens. The PsyD program features two emphases that are vital and relevant for our world — Latinx mental health and diverse populations. Plus, our practitioner-scholar model prepares professionals to contribute meaningfully to the field and practice of clinical psychology.

The MFA in creative writing is an artist-training program for students who want to write professionally in the genres of novel, short story, playwriting, poetry, screenplay and nonfiction.
