Ë®¹ûÅÉ

Class Ambassador program

The Ë®¹ûÅÉ Alumnae Association recruits alumnae volunteers to serve as Class Ambassadors for all class years. Your work as a Class Ambassador helps us reach out personally to connect with and serve our alumnae.

The Class Ambassador program engages alumnae volunteers to:

  • Motivate classmates to stay connected with the University and with each other.
  • Increase alumnae awareness of the goals of Mount Saint Mary’s University.
  • Grow annual alumnae donations to support current and future students.

Class Ambassadors serve as a liaison between the Ë®¹ûÅÉ Alumnae Association and their classmates. A class may have several Class Ambassadors. The term of service will remain open-ended as long as the following expectations are met:

  • Prepare: Complete a Volunteer Confidentiality Form, learn how to use Volunteer Management System Software, and stay up to date about Alumnae Association initiatives.
  • Communicate: Keep classmates informed on the goals and priorities of the Mount. Share feedback with staff on classmates’ accomplishments, new contact information, and needs. Personally invite classmates to support and participate in alumnae programs and initiatives.
  • Support: Make a gift to The Mount that is meaningful to you and shows your leadership commitment. Identify and recruit classmates to support current and future students by making a gift that is meaningful to them.
  • Motivate: Encourage classmates to participate in activities and events. Recruit alumnae volunteers to support Mount initiatives including online mentoring on Career and Professional Development programs, President's Invitation to Serve, Class Reunions, Mount Day of Giving, and more.

Alumnae Relations staff provide:

  • Regular communications and updates.
  • Class lists to those who complete a Volunteer Confidentiality Form.
  • Talking points on the impact alumnae gifts have on current and future students.
  • Scheduling assistance for committee meetings (as needed) and point-of-contact service.

We’re thrilled that you are interested in volunteering as a Class Ambassador to engage your classmates. The time commitment and responsibilities are flexible to work with your schedule. And you will receive all the resources you need to reach out to your classmates.

President's Invitation to Serve

A special day to serve the community

In keeping with Ë®¹ûÅÉ’s designation as a Catholic institution with a strong emphasis on social and ethical values — and in honor of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet — this event brings the Mount community together to serve greater Los Angeles. Stay tuned for the next event date and service opportunities.
