Founding Physical Therapist – Orthopedic & Sports Rehabilitation
Part-Time | Los Angeles, CA Potential to Transition to Full-Time
We are seeking our first Physical Therapist to help establish and grow our orthopedic and sports rehabilitation services. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated clinician who wants to take ownership in helping to build a program from the ground up. Early-career physical therapists with strong initiative and an interest in program development are encouraged to apply.
Our patient population includes general orthopedic patients, personal injury cases, and athletic populations. We are particularly focused on developing structured return-to-play rehabilitation pathways and performance-based recovery models.
This role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape clinical systems, protocols, and the growth of the PT service line.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat a broad orthopedic caseload
- Manage personal injury rehabilitation cases
- Manage athletic injuries through return-to-play progression
- Develop structured rehabilitation and return-to-sport protocols
- Establish objective performance testing standards (hop testing, strength symmetry, functional metrics)
- Help define documentation, workflow, and clinical standards for the PT department
- Contribute to defining clinical workflow and PT program development
- Communicate with referring providers and collaborate within a multidisciplinary medical team
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Licensed or license-eligible in California
- Strong interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
- Comfortable working independently and helping build clinical systems
- Willingness to work with personal injury patients
Strongly Preferred
- Sports or orthopedic-focused clinical rotations
- Experience working with athletes (high school, collegiate, club)
- Comfort developing rehab programs independently
- Exposure to return-to-play testing
- Strength & conditioning background
- CSCS certification (or interest in pursuing)
- Vestibular rehabilitation exposure (a plus, not required)

We are a small physical therapy clinic looking for an EXCEPTIONAL person to join our team and help make a difference. We are looking for a highly motivated, team oriented PT who can also work autonomously. Our outpatient physical therapy clinic is highly regarded in the community from both patients and referring doctors.
We are a therapist owned clinic which values each employee's needs.
We are in network with most insurances and Medicare. We also have those clients that want to pay cash once their benefits run out. Typical client is 25-65 years old, but we have seen as young as early teens and clients into their 80's. We tend to mostly see an active population. We do not see many workers compensation.
