Benefits

Mount Saint Mary's University is committed to offering a comprehensive benefit package to benefit-eligible employees. The University offers a variety of insurance​ plans. Benefits-eligible employees include Regular Staff hired to work in a position for at least 30 hour per week/80% FTE for a minimum of nine (9) months annually and Faculty hired to work on a full-time or 80% FTE (or above) minimum of nine (9) months contract.

Full Benefits Eligible employees may participate in the University’s 403(b) Retirement Plan immediately from the date of employment. The University, at its discretion, may provide Full Benefits Eligible employees with additional employer contributions. Currently, the University provides an employer contribution equal to 7% of compensation and matches employee contributions up to 3% of compensation.

Tuition Waiver benefit is available for benefits-eligible employees, spouse/registered domestic partner (RDP) and dependents. Ë®¹ûÅÉ is a member of the National Tuition Exchange Program.

  • Attend the new hire on-boarding: Ë®¹ûÅÉ fast facts virtual meeting with the Human Resources department. Invitation to follow by Human Resources
  • Complete: new hire checklist and acknowledgement of receipt of key policies and presentation
  • Meet and connect with your Ë®¹ûÅÉ supervisor/manager and department/team: review position description and responsibilities
  • Access your Ë®¹ûÅÉ online credentials provided by the Office of Information and Technology via e-mail
  • Obtain a Ë®¹ûÅÉ parking punchcard for complimentary parking (5) days with the Transportation and Parking department
